Based on what you've described,...you likely need a door lock/switch assembly. The closest I found to your model is actually CLTF2940ES0. The door latch is likely the single most common fault (which prevent's any spin, and consequently drenching wet clothing at the end of the cycle) with the frigidaire/electrolux built washer's, aside from pump's being obstructed.
I think it fool's many people because the lock indicates it is energized on the panel, however the built in "monitor" switch inside the assembly fail's. I do see a lot of these particular machine's...unfortunately.
You should be able to purchase one at most local brick
check the pump for a blockage,if the water cantget out of the wash tub,the machine senses this and wont spin out the load, also make sure to check both sides of the pump from the tub to pump and pump to house drain sides
Hi there, the same thing is happening with our washer. Did you find a solution to the problem? We found a coin the the black tube, but it still doesn't do the final spin. I can hear the motor trying to do something, but it just won't do the final spin. If anyone has any idea or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I have a load of slopping wet laundry to deal with. :(
I am a service technician in grants pass oregon and i had the same problem. It told me to replace the board too. I replaced the main boad, Motor control board, door switch and cleaned all the hoses and it still didnt fix it. I had 3 other service technicians look at it ( one from sears ) And nobody could figure it out.
You're problem is probably the door latch assembly. This is a common problem on Frigidaire front load washers. You can find the part at your local appliance parts suppliers. If the door latch assembly is faulty, the washer will run through all of its normal cycles, but will not spin. Hope this fixes the problem for you.
If the washer fills with water, but will not start the wash cycle or spin, it is 1 of to things. the most common for frigidaire front load affinitys is the door lock assembly. I have had to replace numerous of these. if the door lock indicator is not on when it tries to wash, you need to replace the door lock assembly. if the door lock indicator is on, but wont wash, it is likly that you have a bad motor control board.
