1). Immediately pick out the inner memory card in case that any newly taken picture would rewrite your original photos.
2). Insert this camera to your computer via a card Reader and prepare to retrieve all your deleted pictures.
3). Apply a deleted photo recovery freeware to retrieve all your deleted photos back successfully:
http://blog4mark.blogspot.com/2012/12/photo-recovery-after-delete.html
I believe this data recovery freeware can work perfectly on your camera memory card just in the same way as it completely retrieves all the deleted data of my friend off from his phone memory card. Just give it a shot!
4). Save and back up all the restored photos on a different memory card or drive in case of data recovery failure.
Note: Never forget to back up everything important at least on two memory cards or locations in the future.
Good luck!

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.

I keep getting the message "connecting to computer" on Samgsung SH100

Disconnect the camera, remove the battery and after a few moments reinsert the battery. Then switch on again.
When you charge the battery in the camera, the camera could think it is connected to a PC, because the USB cable is inserted. It could be you are using a USB cable, that not came with the camera. If the error keeps coming back buy an external (Universal) charger, to charge your battery. Modern universal charges can charge almost every camera battery on the market. In the long run, it is better for the camera and for the battery, when you charge in an external charger.
Keep the contacts clean with a dry cloth.

Samsung SH100 camera 14.2 mp 5X wifi user manual

Most camera's don't have reset buttons. Although the android cameras could have one. But the first thing you can do if an error occurs with any camera, is switch it of. Check no light is burning or flashing. (this means the camera is still accessing the memory and switching off will damage the file system) Then remove the battery. Wait a few seconds and than reinsert the battery. This will force the camera to start from scratch.

Hard reset sh100

The only reset you can do is resetting the settings you made. There is no such thing as a reset button.
For reset see the English manual page 132.

Hello. Remove the batteries and use the eraser on the end of a common pencil to clean the contacts. Then replace the batteries and turn it on. J.
