This is the common problem with this model of RCA TV, the problem is not defective LED strips, but the power supply.
You may purchase a power supply on the net, but you can't guaranty that it is a good one.
This is the trick to make this TV work:
On the power supply, locate the R410 100K resister, solder a 220K/0.125W resistor in parallel with it, this will race up the oscillation frequency of the back light power supply circuit & make the voltage stable.
It is not a proper service procedure, but it works for us.
Plasma and LCD TV sets are prone to having capacitors in the power supply section fail. This is the most likely cause for the probem you describe. When capacitors fail your will commonly see one or more of the following symptoms.
Hello
If the picture is correct in all resepect, and only a buzzing sound only comes from its inside circuit, it will be due to a loose core fittings, on any one or two ferrite cored transformers inside the power supply sytem. There are transformeres of small and large types, both in power supply and other boards. We have to find out which transformer makes this buzz sound during working. For this, you have to open your TV, and power it ON, and listen the the sound carefully, and detect the transformer which makes this noise. After finding the exact one, this loose core contact can be fixed with the help of Super Glue or similar fast acting adhesive. Just put three or four drops of adhesive in between the core will rectify your problem.
If there is no picture at all and a buzzing sound like this is heard from your TV, the inside circuit has some short in it and has to be detected and rectified. OK>
This is a common problem an a failry easy DIY fix.

It ur Vizio tv,The power supply board is the problems. The transformers in the power supply board have gaps in the transformers. The high voltage curents flow that make that buzzing noise.
Hello,
This noise is coming from the Lamp ballast. The back light of your TV (to make your LCD picture light up) is a Florecent Light Array. It is powered by a lamp ballast. You can have a shop change this power supply out for you.
Good luck!
You haven't specified where the buzzing sound is coming from, if it is coming from speakers, changing capacitors in the audio section will fix the problem, especially the filters. Now if it sounds like a hissing sound from back of the tv, the CRT base socket is the culprit. It is an easy thing to fix, and the base is cheap, but make sure you purchase the exact same type of base or it will harm the CRT. Good luck.
