Water leakage. cleaned back area so fan free of dust and water in pan is evaporating, any other ideas where leakage could be coming from

it should do this but the water should evaporate from the heat from the condenser and compressor,when the machine goes into defrost a heater comes on and melts all the frost off of the coil,the water drains down into the pan where the water will evaporate,when was the last time you cleaned out the condenser coil?remove the front bottom kick panel and check the coil,if it's filled with dust it has to be cleaned out at least once a year especially if you have a cat or dog,then pull out the machine unplug it or shut off the control and remove the bottom back panel,the easiest way to do this is to vac up as much dust as you can with a shop vac,then set it for blow by putting the hose on the other end of the shop vac and blow the dust out of the coil,you can buy a condenser brush that will remove dust thats stuck inside the coil but the shop vac works great,through the condenser this is how the heat escapes out of the machine,also clean off the fan motor in the rear,also there are plastic water lines that come out of the water valve that could be cracked going to the ice maker and water dispenser or the valve itself could be cracked causing this problem or the pan could have a crack in it,very unusual for the pan to overflow,when you're done cleaning it plug it back in,make sure the fan is running fine and have someone fill a cup of water and check the plastic lines coming from the valve to see if it leaks,pull out the pan and check it for cracks,fill it up at the sink and check it,if everything looks good you can shut off the water valve that goes to the fridge for a few days and keep an eye on the pan,like i say it's unusual for the pan to overflow just from the defrost water,if the water is evaporating with the water shut off then you have a crack in one of the water lines going to the ice maker or dispenser

Make sure there is no lint or dust in the fan motor located on the lower back of the fridge. If you clean the fan of lint and dust it should help evaporate water in drain pan.

Could be the pan under the evaporator has holes in it. Did the technicians pull the coil to check for holes in the pan? At the very least, after blowing out the condensate lines they should have poured water into the pan to check for proper drainage and to ensure there were no leaks in the evaporator's drain pan.

It could also be an issue with not having a trap installed in the condensate line. On some sytems that have the condensate line and evaporator coil on the suction side of the fan, no trap installed will allow the water to be sucked back into the pan and eventually may cause the water to spill over the pan. Having the trap installed insures the water will drain properly. It could also be an improperly installed trap that allows air leakage. To give you an example, if the condensate comes off the pan and goes to a tee (used often as a port for blowing or cleaning out the line) and the tee is not capped off when not being used for cleaning purposes, this will allow air to be sucked back through the tee and prevents the water from flowing through the tee and onto the trap. You were correct in not running the unit as water can drip down into a fan motor below the pan and cause it to short out.

One other issue that comes up from time to time is the inability for water (condensate) to drain or trickle down the face of the evaporator coil. This is usually due to dirt blocking the fins of the coil and the condensate accumulates on other portions of the coil and when it hits the blockages of dirt or other debris, it doesn't perform its usual capillary action and follow the fins down into the drain pan, but instead stops, accumulates and then falls straight down into the lower sections. Check the coil's fin surfaces for dirt or other debris. If present, have the coil cleaned.

Caused by lack of evaporation airflow over the pan. Clean all the dust from around the pan, and also in the evaporator fins. Make sure there's a clear airflow path to the pan. Clean out the pan and test.

Is the drain pan underneath overflowing? If so the water filter may be clogged and the water leaking past it to the pan. The normal amount of water from the defrost cycle shouldn't fill it up. The condenser fan usually evaporates the water by blowing the warm air on the pan.

Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

There is a very bad smell from the bottom of the refrigerator . There is a pan under the refrigerator with a very bad smelly Liquid , How can I clean that pan I couldn`t pull it out ? Thank you

There normally two types of leakages from the wall unit.
1.The warm air in the room when comes in contact with the cooling coil of heat exchanger (consisting of fine fins where compressed refrigerant evaporates) looses its heat & cannot retain the same moisture content at lower temperature at the point of contact with evaporator. There is a provision of a drain pipe to carry this condensed water to outside water drain. So if the drain pipe is choked or the coupling joint of the drain pipe at the bottom of cooling coil is not proper, there will be water leakage, This can be easily attended by physically looking at the fittings.
2.The second problem can be the leakage of the refrigerant. If there is second type of problem, then there will be very little or no cooling irrespective of continuous running of air conditioner. This can be easily checked by feeling the temperature of outlet air from the air conditioner.

Conclusion-As you have written that there is leakage from the air conditioner, but you have not written whether it is visible or invisible. If the leakage is visible, it is problem number 1 & if it is invisible, it is problem number 2.
