You can only disable the password if you already know it. If you don't then there is no bypass, not even RIM can do that. BlackBerries are designed to be secure which is exactly why governments and corporations like them.
If you make too many attempts to guess the password you'll eventually be prompted to enter the word BLACKBERRY. This will then totally and irretrievably wipe the phone of all data and return it to its original factory settings. The phone can then be used as normal. Note that if the phone has the Enterprise edition operating system then the phone can be set to be totally unusable.
If the phone data has been backed up to a host pc then the original data can be fully restored, but only if you remember the original password.
Click on "Change your Windows Password" under "User Accounts."
Click "Remove your password."
Type your current password in the field and click the "Remove Password" button.
Click the "Start" button located in the lower-left corner of your screen.
Click "Control Panel" and switch to the "Category" view on the left panel.
Click on "User Accounts" and then "Remove my password."
Type your current password in the field and click the "Remove Password" button.
In Windows XP

If the BIOS password cannot be remembered, the unit will need to be sent in for password removal. This service is not covered under warranty and charges will apply to have the password removed.
Please go to Fix My Acer and set the unit up for service requesting BIOS password removal. In the description please use the following: "Requesting BIOSpassword removal".
Note: This is for the BIOS password only and does not include the Windows login password. Acer does not remove Windows login passwords.
