You have a short most likely on the power supply but could be on the mainboard, inverter board, av/input board. The T-con board is fused and should blow its fuse before blowing the fuse on the power supply. I'm going with a faulty power supply, most likely a shorted Mosfet.

02 Yukon keeps blowing a fuse even when the switch is unplugged on the 4x4

There is an actuator motor located on the transfer case. It selects range; hi neutral and lo and engages the front differential. There is a second clutch actuator motor on the front differential that engages the front wheel hubs.

You will need to disconnect both motors to eliminate electronics. It could also be you have an abraided wire to either the transfer case or the front differential. If unplugging both actuators doesnt stop fuse blow, you will need to test for signal or power to ground shorts.

(#23fuse)No turn signals/backup lights - keep blowing fuse. hard to get out of park.

You have a short to ground on that circuit , you need to look at a wiring diagram an see what all is on that circuit . It's hard to get out of park because this circuit supply's power to the shift interlock actuator . You don't need to step on the brake pedal for this fuse to blow ? just stick in a new one an it blows ? This fuse also powers the brake switch , which powers your brake lights . Crest audio ca4 blowing fuse

There is two possibillities to fuse blown off due to hi current flowing through fuse more than 3amp.because power supply componant like rectifying diode, filter capacitor or regulator ic ,regulator transistor shall be short circuited.
if you are tech......just remove amp. supply.from main power supply...try with another fuse........if fuse ok, fault is amp side, or if fuse blow off ...power side problem just....maximum fault comming on varistor ,diode, filter capacitor, .........
if you are not tech......... give to local authorised tech.......

My fuses keep popping any ideas?

You have not supplied sufficient information so here is one possibility.

If you replace a fuse you must use one that is the correct amperage for the circuit.

Check your owner's manual for the correct amperage fuse for the circuit concerned and make doubly sure the correct one is installed.

If it is the correct amperage for the circuit please supply more information on the problem including which fuse keeps blowing:

1. Is the fuse popping immediately you replace it in the fuse panel and switch power to the circuit or only after a period of time of operating the vehicle? For example, if it is a lighting fuse, does the new fuse blow immediately you switch on the light concerned?

2. What is the function on the vehicle that has the power cut when the fuse blows?

3. Has there been any work carried out on any part of the electrical system or on electrical components of your vehicle prior to this problem arising? If so what was done?

Nad 218 thx power amp keeps blowing ac plug fuse

Hi there. From memory they had bridge rectifier problems with them going short circuit. Check them first. Sometimes the toroidal transformer can go a shorted turn, in turn blowing primary fuses. try to soft start it whilst it is blowing fuses, Best bet is to make up a special lead that has a 60w light bulb wired in series with the mains power supply(or across the fuse holdwer that is blowing:). Limits the power in the circuit to ... well you guessed it 60 watts.

check em out and let me know.

regards
Graeme
