I think if you remove the rear 2 photoconductors there is a tool built in to the printer ( no it does not come out ) push it left or right i rember it being spring loaded this cleans the sensor

Dirty ID sensors on transfer belt clean with canned air or replace. Careful not to spray liquid freon on transfer belt or you will replace that too!

look for 5-810 -SC reset, hit "OK" turn machine off/on using toggle switch.

Need to reset my Ricoh Aficio SP C411DN to factory default.
Tis printer is designed not to be reset. The only way is for a Ricoh Engineer to fit new boards. I was told this by Ricoh today when I phone for advice on the same thing. Apparently they sellthese to the FBI who demand security (Souds like b******t to me.

Problem replacing fusing unit for a Ricoh Aficio SP C411DN
Look in your owners manual for the set of reset keys you ppuch to reset the error in the machine. Can't tell you much other than it is a sequence like holding POWER button and 1 or 2 other keys for so many seconds. Have you tried to ask the question at their website?
