I bought a Reebok V8.90 with iFit cards. My problem is that the workout will stop multiple times during the workout. Then I have to start over. It seems that each time I start over I can get a little further through the workout before it completely stops again. I love the workouts, but I am very frustrated that I can't get through even 5 minutes before I have to restart it. PLEASE help me!!!

Dear Sir:

I hope your are very well in union with your family.

I will help you inmediatel.

Please do the following:

If you can walk on your treadmill but it shuts down during a workout, it is normally caused by a friction problem with the belt and deck.
Here are the most common symptoms and solutions:
1)
Symptom: The treadmill operates for a given period of time and the circuit breaker on the treadmill trips causing you to have to reset the breaker, or let it cool off then reset the breaker.

The amount of time required to shut down will progressively get shorter.

Solution: The walking belt is worn. The incline test is the best test for it if you don't have a way to take a
DC amp draw. Put the treadmill at full incline and walk normally. If it takes it longer to shut off or does not
shut off at all, you need to replace the walking belt. Be sure to inspect the deck for wear too. If you want to
go for a cheap fix try lubricating the walking belt. The best fix is to replace the
walking belt and then regularly maintain it and keep the treadmill clean.
2)
Symptom: The treadmill will show power but after a given period of time, the treadmill will simply shut
down. Once you let it cool off, you can restart it back up but it shuts down faster and the time required
before it shuts down gets progressively shorter.
Solution: Your treadmill is most likely equipped with a heat sensor which shuts down the motor and/or
electronics to prevent them from burning up. If this is the case, replace the walking belt. Be sure to inspect
the deck for wear too. If you want to go for a cheap fix try lubricating the walking
belt. The best fix is to replace the walking belt and then regularly maintain it and keep the treadmill clean.
3)
Symptom: The treadmill shuts down in an intermittent pattern...there is no rhyme or reason to when it will
shut down. I get an error code or nothing shows up on the panel. I have to either unplug the treadmill or
reset it to restart the treadmill.
Solution: If you get an error code, contact us with the code and make and model and we will try to help
you figure out what is going on. Typically we either find a loose wire, an intermittent short, a bad power
board, or a bad control panel in service calls that we do locally. Unplug your treadmill and then check all
your wiring to make sure nothing is pinched, crimped or loose. Remove and replace each connector in
case corrosion is causing.

Thank you in advance, sincerely. God bless you.

How to use iFit Live with built in WIFI.

If you have a workout machine that is supported by iFit Live technology and does not require a wireless module then there are a few steps to configure it. First, make sure you are connected to the internet. To do this tap on the little "i" in the bottom right hand corner of the touchscreen and then tap wireless network. Next to your home wireless network tap "connect", then done. After you are connected we need to check the version of the firmware. to do this click on the picture of the gears on the bottom right hand of the screen. You will see a version number on the top left. The current version is 5.12 but may be advanced by the time you read this. tap the update firmware button. This will take about five minutes and will then prompt you to cycle the power on your machine. After the power is cycled and the machine is back on tap "iFit Live Workouts". Then tap "Live Workouts". It will ask you to login using the information provided when you registered. After you login there will be a big green start button. Tap that and your machine will be registered online and it will pull off of the internet a demo workout. Finally, go online to ifit.com and log in with the same information as above and download the workouts and programs you desire.

Ifit light flashes. Everything works properly except light flashes, which is distracting and irritating.

o 1 Check the connection cablebetween the Pro-Form device and the home stereo, computer, television or VCR ifthe iFit program is not working. Ensure that both the Pro-Form device and thestereo device are both turned on in order to function properly.o 2 Connect the Pro-Form deviceto the computer prior to logging onto the website iFit.com if the iFit programsare not downloading or operating on the computer. The fitness device mustremain plugged into the computer at all times in order to use the iFit programsduring the workout.o 3 Insert the console key andpress the "Program Select" button repeatedly if the iFit program isnot working properly. Ensure that the fitness device is connected to thedesired output device, such as the computer, television, VCR or MP3 player. TheiFit indicator should be lit on the console display.o 4 Press the "Start"button on the console if the time display is flashing on the Pro-Form device console. The iFit program will not function while the time display is flashing.o 5 Listen for a chirping soundif the incline or speed changes suddenly on the fitness device. The chirpingsound indicates that a speed or incline change is about to take place, even ifthe iFit program has not announced the change.

My reebok treadmill makes only three beeps when you hit the sensor buttons

Plug in power cord, remove key, hold down speed+ and stop buttons, replace key, release buttons, press stop once, press and hold speed + until max. treadmill will run to top speed (s9.80 should read out 11.8 to 12.5.) It took a couple of times to get this to work for mine, but now it is OK. If unit does not run after several attempts then the console is probably bad and will need to be replaced ($410). Get another treadmill ! If it does run the console may still beep - problem is with IFIT card. You can get rid of the beeps by opening the console and unplugging the IFIT cable from the computer card if you want.

My Reebok S 9.80 will turn on but when I push any button on the console it just beeps and does not respond. What does that mean?

yes - had to recalibrate it. Plug it in, remove the key, hold down speed + and the stop button on the console, while holding them down replace the key. release the buttons, then press stop once. then press and hold speed + until speed reaches max. unit should run and speed up to max. console should display max speed (s9.80 should read 11.8 to 12.5). It took me a couple of tries to get running but now it is OK. If after several tries the unit does not run then the console will probably need to be replaced ($410) - so get a new treadmill ! If unit does run then it may still beep. Problem is with the IFit card. You can get rid of the beeping by opening the console (unplug the treadmill first) and removing the cable that connects the IFit card to the mother board. Of course the IFit will not work but it will not be beeping at you. good luck

Will my ifit treadmill card work in an incline

Technically, the Incline Trainer and the treadmill are two different type of machines. The incline trainer raises much higher so the card that is designed for the treadmill will not work on the incline trainer unfortunately.
