I think your insignia is set for SHOP mode instead of HOME mode. I changed mine to HOME and it's working fine now. Press your menu button and then scroll down to setup. You're looking for Plug and PLay which should be the very first choice. If it's greyed out as mine was you'll have to change your imput from HDMI to TV in order to get to the P&P. Once you're in the Plug and Play your first choice is language. The second should be SHOP or HOME. Make sure to select HOME. You can skip scanning for channels. This fixed my problem with the blue light. The store uses SHOP so if someone plays around and changes something, all they have to do is shut off the TV and turn it back on. Please let me know if this works.

Fuse location on ns-lcd47hd-09

Most modern TV sets don't usually have a separate fuse. Most have a safety cutout (Sometimes a fuse) soldered on to the main power inlet electronic board. Its inside the TV and will require the back to be taken off it. Make sure its unplugged before you do anything!

Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Time slide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

Insignia tv screen is black no picture. when i turn it on it is black. green light is on but no sound, no picture~nothing. is it a simple fix?

It May be a Simple fix to some people. But it could be a multiple things. Some capacitors inside could be bad or one of the boards it's self First go about by checking for bad capacitors and swap them out if needed. If that does not work its just about time to scrap it because for any of the boards inside could cost a hundred or 2 hundred bucks and you can just buy a new one.

Insignia tv will not powerup

Nothing at all? Does the screen seem to go from dark black to a lighter shade of black?

If the screen appears to stay on the darker shade of black then it is broken, and needs to be sent for repair. ( ie the screen isnt powering on when the tv is and there is nothing you can do without opening it.

You might try unplugging all cables and leaving it off with no power for a day This is in effect performing a factory reset.

and this may sound stupid and patronizing but is the TV being taken out of standby mode and actually switched on?
