I bought treadmil - lifefitness 9500 hr next generation rebuilt treadmill. no owners manual. while walking on it the electronic readout comes on displaying - no user detected - then shuts off. i have to press enter to start it back in action again. i was wondering 1.) is there a way to stop this 2.) is there something wrong with this
Sounds like the sensor that detects someone is on it is bad, Here is the service manual that should help.

Sounds like it is overheating, you have to disassemble the unit and find why it might be overheating

Not sure what's happened here. treadmill won't turn on when red key is inserted. checked electrical plug to make sure it worked. I couldn't see that there's anything wrong with the red key. Have any ideas?

iv had similar problems, only happened once tho - i switched it on after a few mins
it would go off.
iv read to dismantle the stop switch, clean and replace the microswitch. where can the microswitch be found from?
also, is the red stop switch that needs looking at? how can i remove it?
i was wondering on how i can service/maintain this properly, can anyone advise my on how to give this a service.

The drive belt was loose. I tightened up the motor just a smidge using a crow bar. That solved the problem.
SOURCE: Treadmill Incline Works, belt does not move
Check the drive belt. It may be loose or broken. If the belt is loose, then to tighten the drive belt, start by removing the front cover. loosen the bolts around the motor then tighten the drive belt by tightening the motor adjuster bolt. Once the drive belt is tight, tighten the motor back down.
