View deleted history

If want to see what's been viewed on a computer or if you want to find a website that you visited, but can't quite remember the name of, you'll need to check your computer's history and cookies folders.

These are where the information about a computer user's Internet whereabouts are kept.
Some people say these folders contain the user's "footprints."

The footprints aren't hard to find. All it takes is a few mouse clicks and you're there.
Open your Web browser and click on the "Favorites, Feeds and History" tab. Internet Explorer's tab is indicated by a yellow star.

Click on the "History" tab. There should be a list of items arranged either by "Date," "Site," "Most Visited" or "Visited Today."

Click on each of these items to see what's been viewed on the computer.

If the history has been deleted, click on "Tools" and a drop-down menu will appear.
Click on "Internet Options."

On the "Internet Options" screen, click on "Settings" under "Browsing history."

Click on "View files" to display the cookies on the computer.

Cookies are pieces of information from websites that a computer saves to make loading the information faster. You can click on these items to see what they are.

How can I get my past history

Internet History on a Computer
Web browsers keep an internal record of the websites you visit.
This history also called a cache makes future access of websites easier because some of the data is already loaded in your computer.
Internet history is also useful to look through when you cannot remember the name of an important website you visited.
The creators of the big three Web browsers as of the time of publication Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome make viewing your browsing history simple.

Open an Internet Explorer window.
Press "Ctrl" and "H," or click the star to the left of the browser tabs and press "History."

Click on the day, week or month you wish to view. Internet Explorer will keep your Web history until you clear the cache.

Mozilla Firefox

Open Firefox.

Click the "History" drop-down menu.

Select "Show All History."

Locate the day, week or month of the Firefox history you wish to view.
The dialog box will show all history since you last cleared your "History" cache.

Google Chrome

Open a Google Chrome browser.

Click the wrench icon located on the toolbar.

Click "History."
Google Chrome will display all of the websites you have visited within the past 10 weeks. However, websites you viewed in "Incognito" mode or secure pages will not be displayed.

How do i view my browser history

Close, I will provide you with a couple of answers:
1. In Internet Explorer, click on favorites and you will see a tab for history; this will be your browsing history.
2. In AOL, click on View, then History; This option opens the History side panel, which displays your browsing history and provides the number of times you visited the site (in parenthesis) as well as a thumbnail view of the Web page. Clicking Clear My Footprints at the bottom of the History Side Panel clears your browsing history, blocked pop-up list, and all thumbnails.
3. Google Chrome: There is a wrench looking thing in the upper right corner, click it and then on History, this will bring up your entire history.

I want to show search history on you tube

You can find the viewing history of the videos on youtube through this link: http://www.youtube.com/my_history
Youtube does not save the search history specifically, however your browser does. Here is a link on how to find and use your browser history:
internet explorer
mozilla firefox
google chrome

If you have another browser than these main three, a simple google search will help you find how to see your history.
