Sorry, but no. 2GB or less standard SD only. Fortunately these are very inexpensive these days, and are widely available on Amazon if your local store no longer carries them.

Camera saying memory full but card brand new

Not only the size is important, the manual says SD max 2 GB.
But even a 1GB SDHC card won't work, because the camera is not compatible with SDHC and SDXC.
They used to make SD cards up to 4 GB, but most new cards from 1 GB and up are SDHC and above 32 GB the cards are SDXC. Older camera's can't handle these cards, although they look the same.

Use the USB cable and the storage should become available when you plug the camera into a PC. You can buy the cable on ebay.

Samsung s1030 digital camera keep showing memory full but have inserted new sdhc card how do i clear this as i cannot take any pics

Clear it by putting in a compatible memory card. The S1030 works with SD cards. Your 8GB SDHC card in not compatible. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Samsung L700 memory card not working prints r not avialable 1 2 5 i wanna jumpers of samsung l 700 memory card

Although no memory card specifications (except that it should be SD or SDHC or MMC card) is listed in the PDF manual, the problem most probably is that your card might be incompatible (I've personally experienced card's incompatibility with other digital cameras):
1) Borrow different SD or SDHC cards from your friends and try on your camera.
1) Check cards of different speed classes (number 2, 4, 8 or 10 inside a circle on the card): Normally if you have smaller SD cards (up to 2GB), it might suffice that card's speed class is 2. If you have larger SDHC cards (4GB and more), your camera might require a speed class of 4 or more. Or it may also happen that your card is too fast/big - some older devices don't work with too modern SD/SDHC cards. Read more about SD card speed classes>>
2) Check cards of different sizes. Some cameras my not work with too small or too large size cards.
3) There are plenty of fake SD/SDHC cards on ebay (mostly from China, with unidentified manufacturers/brands) which don't work with many devices and cause many errors. If there's a size and speed class written on such fake card - don't trust these numbers, they are probably fake.
3) If none of the different memory cards work - bring your camera to the mechanic
However, these requirements may vary from camera to camera. So ask about your Samsung L700 camera directly at Samsung customer support form>>
There are several websites where you can match your camera with compatible SD/SDHC cards:

I have tried an SDHC card but it reads 'memory full' But it will show pictures, on the same card , taken by other cameras. frustrated ed.

Your basic problem is that the card contains pictures taken by other cameras. Your camera has a different operating system. To get the card to work, you must format it in the camera. This will erase it so download any pics you want to save first using a separate card if necessary. typrice_79.jpg

Memory card saying "full" when its not

Your problem is that you are using an incompatible type of memory card.

Your camera was designed to use SD cards with a maximum capacity of 2GB. It cannot use larger capacity models, and is also incompatible with the later SDHC cards.

SDHC cards are the same shape and will fit your camera, but have differences beneath the skin and so won't work properly in your camera. Without any memory card in place your camera uses internal memory; it's then only by lucky chance that your camera has sufficient SDHC compatibility to allow you to transfer the internal memory image to the SDHC card when you subsequently insert it into your camera.

Your only solutions are to either use an SD card with a maximum capacity of 2GB or to replace the camera with a later model which is fully SDHC compliant.

Hello my camera is a samsung digimax d73 and when i turn it on it says its locked and would like to know how to corrected thanks ernie

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.
