i got a craig for xmas and i am having problems charging mine it says it is but when i unplug it it says the battery is not charged and go out. i only have played it 5 times and not it is not keeping charge

i just bought-june 14, 2008. The Minidisc provided in the purchase was sandwhiched in the packing, I almost threw it away before finding it.

The Minidisc when inserted in my disc driver does not come on automatically and does nothing when I open it manually. I tried installing the software on it and using it, but it continues to do nothing.

When I connected the MP3 player to my laptop with the USB Cable provided, a message appeared "USB Device not recognized".

it should have came with a little cd that should have the driver software on it..
if it didnt you can try going to my computer and seeing if it is in the devices with removable storage box

There is no known reset procedure at this time, you can start it, let it run and recycle endlessly until the batteries expire. It's not recommended due to battery life, but this does reset most of the models. Then use a standard charger 110v Ac to USB (wall current) to start it up. Good Luck
