Its pretty easy really but you must reinsert the stabilizer bolt before you move it.unplug and drain everything. remove inspection panel on the rear and the pump is plain to see its the thing all the hoses are coming from. usually its a nickel stuck in there where the intake hose is. TIP! take pics as you go with dig cam or cell so you dont get lost in the woods good luck you can do it!

The digital screen come up with F21. How do I fix this

F21 means the washing machine has a “water draining issue”, meaning the drain pump itself, or the drain hose is clogged and the washer is having problems draining the water out. In other words, the washer is taking too long to drain the water out of the tub. If you have a front load washer then you need to locate the drain pump which is usually located on the bottom front of the machine. If you have a top load washer then you need to make sure the drain hose is not clogged or pinched. The drain hose is located in the back bottom of the washer

It wont work it flashes fl

the Fl code indicates an overfill condition. If the washer is empty, then you likely have a problem with the water level pressure switch. If the washer is full of water and will not drain, you likely have a problem with the drain pump or the washer drain line.

If the washer is full of water, make sure that the washer drain is clear and working properly. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. If you find no problems with these issues, I recommend that you manually drain the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Check the drain pump and connecting hoses for problems. You may need to replace the drain pump of water will drain out of the washer properly but the pump will not work properly. A clog in the check ball assembly at the bottom of the tub can also prevent the washer from draining properly.

Washer is flashing f2

F2 on a Whirlpool Duet means their is a problem with the Drain Pump or Drain Pump Filter. The Drain Pump and Filter are located at the bottom of the Washing machine. You must remove the front, bottom panel to gain access to the Drain Pump and Filter. Disconnect the Filter and Drain Hoses and clear them out. If they are clear, you may need to replace your Drain Pump.

Water leaking from bottom, lots of suds.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. This may happen due one or more than one of these issues with your washer--
Probably there is something(coins, socks, dirt, debris, etc) stuck inside the drain filter of your washer. You'll need to check the drain filter. To access the drain filter. To check the drain pump follow these steps:

Unplug the washer to completely disconnect electrical power.Remove the bottom front service panel as shown in the first image below.

Also check your drain hose for a kink or clog. Check the washer house drain for a clog or restriction. Test the washer to see if it will drain properly.

This issue can also be due to clogged drain pump or drain filter, due to which the hose have developed leak. This will cause suds

Please rate the solution if you find it useful and helpful.

Thanks

Washer displays Lr code after spin cycle. Water leaks slightly at bottom of washer and clothes are still soaking wet. What could be the problem?

HI, the Lr represents a drainage issue(some sort of obstruction in the drain or a damaged pump). Check the following to address this issue.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

Water will not drain

If you experience a problem where the washer does not drain and the drain pump does not run at all, here’s the information you need to replace the drain pump:

Symptom: PUMP IS NOT RUNNING, NOT DRAINING AT ALL.

1. Unplug the washer while servicing inside the unit.
2. Remove the lower kick panel under the door by removing the three 7mm screws under the bottom edge of the panel. HINT: Use a couple of blocks of wood to prop up the front feet of the washer to gain better access to the screws. Once the screws are removed the panel should drop down, and then pull off. If the panel becomes stuck, a slight tap on either side will dislodge it.
3. Locate the drain pump. It will be located directly under the wash tub (it is the only pump this washer has).
4. There is an access removal cover on the pump that can be removed to clean out the trap. Sometimes objects get caught in the pump impeller and stop it from running. We’re going to assume that you have already done this and that the pump no longer runs. It is strongly recommended that you remove all residual water from the wash tub & drain line at this point or you will have about a gallon or so inside your washer and on the floor to clean up.
5. HINT: Here’s a helpful way of quickly removing the residual water. If you own a wet/dry shop vac, remove the drain hose from the standpipe at the wall and pull a vacuum with the shop vac. This will empty the wash tub, pump and drain lines. If you don’t own a shop vac, grab a bunch of old towels and open the access on the pump slowly so that it comes out at a trickle. Allow the towels to soak up the majority of the water. Close the access and stop the water if you need to get additional towels.
6. Place the drain hose back in the standpipe (IMPORTANT – DO NOT FORGET!).
7. Locate the electrical connection to the pump and disconnect.
8. Now locate the two drain lines and remove them. The hose clamps can be released by squeezing with a pair of pliers. NOTE: I would not recommend removing the hose from the bottom of the wash tub unless you really have to. This one can be difficult at times to get back on.
9. Remove the torx type screw at the front center of the pump and it should slide right out of the mounting grooves on the bottom of the washer case.
10. Your new pump comes with several adapters to place on the feet of the pump in order for it to properly fit your washer. These are rubber bushings that help get rid of vibration and noise. If you become confused, there should be installation instructions that come with your new pump. You can also look at the pump you just removed to see how the bushings are mounted.
11. Reinstall the drain lines to the pump. HINT: It is much easier to do this with the pump still OUT, rather than installing it. When you squeeze the clamps to open them up, make sure you slide the clamp completely over the hose AND the inlet/outlet tubes on the pump housing in order to get a good seal.
12. Reinstall pump by sliding the feet of the pump into the mounting grooves on the bottom of the washer case. Tighten the center screw and reattach the electrical connection.
13. With the bottom panel still off, plug the washer back in and select the following on the operator console – DRAIN SPIN, NO SPIN, and then press any button under OPTIONS 4 times (it must be the same button). “C00” will show on the console display as the washer begins diagnostics mode.
14. Check the drain pump for leaks as the washer fills. The pump is gravity filled and will hold water even it is not pumping. Allow washer to run through diagnostics until it begins the wash tub tumble cycle.
15. At this point, you can stop the diagnostics procedure by pressing PAUSE/CANCEL 2 times. The drain pump is supposed to energize and begin to drain.
16. If the pump works normal and there are no leaks detected, reinstall panel and tighten screws.

CAUTION: Use care when reaching inside the washer case not to damage the small wire harness that runs along the front of the machine.

NOTE: It is normal to have residual water left inside the wash tub under the wash basket. This is why it is important to leave the door ajar when not in use so this water does not become sour.

NOTE: My initial symptoms describe a drain pump that is NOT running. It is actually possible for the drain pump to be running and STILL not drain. If the pump impeller becomes damaged, or if the motor shaft is stripped, the pump will run, but will not drain properly.

Machine wont drain and the door wont open

Hi,

If your washer won't drain, check these:

It spins, but doesn't pump
It doesn't spin or pump
It pumps, but the water returns
It spins, but doesn't pump If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out.

To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port.

Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job.

If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump.

It doesn't spin or pump If your washer doesn't spin or pump water out but the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley. If so, you need to replace the pump. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it.

It pumps, but the water returns If the water that pumps out of the machine goes back into the machine after the spin cycle, your washer may be siphoning the water from a laundry tub that has a slow drain, back into the washer. The usual remedy for this is to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is something stuck in the drain?) Also, check for these problems:

  • If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess.

  • If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.
