I have a Hoover logic 1300 washing machine . bought it new back in 1989. good machine lasted me for these many years. But just recently, it stop going to the final spin of 1300 rpm. Could anyone give me some advice what could be the fault. All cloths wash ok, just at the final stage will not go to 13rmp. Which unit needs to be replaced? Would be gratful if some enginerr out there could advise me.

you need to access your drain pump and check it for an obstruction but when you pull the hose off keep in mind it might have a lot of water in it i usually use a shop vac and pull all the water out through the drain hose before removing the hose or opening the pump sorry i cant be more specific but ive never cleaned the pump on a hoover
