1. lift lid and open front cover

2. press clear/back. "Replace Drum?" will appear on the screen.

3. Press "*00" it will then read accepted and the toner low error (End
of Toner Life) should go away.

4. close it all up and your done.

Basickly, Toner cartridge has two sides one side to refill the toner,
other side has two screws, this is the side you have to work on,,
A- Remove 2 screws,,Remove cover out (( SLOWLY )) do not loose ther Gear
or the Spring,,
B- Turn The Big white Gear Full Turn,
C-reinstall the gear back.
D-But back two screws,
Good Luck,, Some times you have to try it 3 or 4 Times,,
Aslo you can see it in youtube...

How to reset " replace drum" for brother MFC-7860DW

Time to really order a new drum and really replace with a new one.
Resetting the drum unit will not improve print quality. It only resets your drum and allows you to continue to print. You decide when to replace the drum unit not the manufacturer!

1.Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge. Wait 1 or 2 minutes.
2.Replace the drum unit and toner cartridge into printer.
3.The error message "Change Drum Soon/Drum end soon" will continue to appear if the drum counter was not reset when you replace the drum unit.
4.To clear this error message, you need to reset the drum counter as instructed below.
5.Make sure that the machine is turned on.
6.Press Options.
To confirm you are installing a new drum, press 1.
7.When the LCD shows Accepted, close the front cover.
8.Your drum is now reset.

Try cleaning the corona wire on each toner cartridge. This may help solve your solution.
