Looks like this is reported a lot by people in various forums. Was the TV unplugged for a period of time? If so leave it plugged in for a day or two and try it again. Sounds like the whole line has a faulty power supply. http://www.avsforum.com/t/1146507/57hx93-dead-wont-power-on
Oh goodness... this just happened to me!!! There was a power outage on my block. After the power was restored my toshiba model #57HX93 won't turn on but I can hear a clicking noise when I plug it in the outlet.
I am facing similar problem showing "no video signal" following failed attempt to connect Wii. Even after trying to reset, it won't come out again.. I am totally at loss? Toshiba Customer Desk has not been connected well and appreciate any advise.
The DMD panel is made up of individual " Digital Micromirror devices" (DMD) one mirror per pixel. They are HD2+ DMDs which are the 4th generation DMDs. I dont have a part number but what is your set doing for symptoms? DMDs are basically small mirrors mounted on hinges that react to the digital inpulses so the signal can aim the mirrors percisely. Toshiba should have a replacement panel available. Let me know if I can assist you further.
