I have a Brother ML-3051N b/w laser printer that prints horizontal lines grayish across the page, what can be done to correct this? Other than that, it prints good.
Thanks, that's what I was thinking, just don't want to put too much money in it for repairs! Thanks, that's what I was thinking, just don't want to put too much money in it for repairs!

The drum roller is damaged. You must be careful and spin the cylinder. do not touch the roller. You probably have a line in the roller that causes this issue. Each time i have seen this problem, this was the cause.
if older printer or well used printer (All laser printers if they have print quality issues - it is mostly either the toner or the fuser). the only way to tell is get (borrow) a toner and see if problem is the same or remove the fuser (the hot thing in the printer) and see if the "ironing" unit or fuser rollers are dirty or worn out or scratched
