Pump has been replaced but did not pump water out when running diagnostic cycle

If the pump has been replaced and the dishwasher is still not pumping water out during the diagnostic cycle, there are a few things you can try:
  1. Check the drain hose: Make sure the drain hose is not clogged or kinked. A clogged or kinked drain hose can prevent the dishwasher from draining properly.
  2. Check the drain valve: The drain valve controls the flow of water out of the dishwasher. If it is faulty, the dishwasher may not drain properly. Test the drain valve to make sure it is functioning properly.
  3. Check the float switch: The float switch is a safety feature that prevents the dishwasher from overfilling with water. If it is stuck or faulty, it can prevent the dishwasher from draining properly.
  4. Check the control board: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a problem with the dishwasher's control board. A faulty control board can prevent the dishwasher from draining properly.
If you are not comfortable performing these steps yourself, it may be best to contact a professional dishwasher repair service for assistance.

Won't drain properly

Hi Brian ramsden,

So i understand that your washer is not draining properly even after replacing the pump. It drains without clothes but when clothes are in the appliance it will not drain. I suggest that you contact the manufacturer or you local authorized technician for more information and assistance. This way they can get to the root of what is causing your washer to not drain properly.

There is a code on my washer ue, oe can u tell what it means and how to fix the problems

Check the next solution procedure (click image for zoom)...

zjlimited_1845.jpg

Now, about OE code check the drain pump filter: items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.

Check the washers drain hose... if the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.

Confirm that the washer is leveled properly, if the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a LEVEL on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.

Hope helps (remember to rate and comment this free answer)..

It wont work it flashes fl

the Fl code indicates an overfill condition. If the washer is empty, then you likely have a problem with the water level pressure switch. If the washer is full of water and will not drain, you likely have a problem with the drain pump or the washer drain line.

If the washer is full of water, make sure that the washer drain is clear and working properly. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. If you find no problems with these issues, I recommend that you manually drain the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Check the drain pump and connecting hoses for problems. You may need to replace the drain pump of water will drain out of the washer properly but the pump will not work properly. A clog in the check ball assembly at the bottom of the tub can also prevent the washer from draining properly.

Hello, my washer is flashing a code F 21 what does this mean?

The F21 error code indicates a long drain. Here are some tips that should help you resolve this problem:

Check your washer drain to make sure that it is draining properly.
Check the drain hose for kinks and clogs. Make sure that it is installed properly per the instructions in your owner's manual. An improperly installed drain hose can prevent the washer from draining properly.

Check for excessive suds in the washer tub. Excessive suds can prevent the washer from draining properly and will result in the F21 code. Make sure that you are using the proper amount of HE (High Efficiency) detergent to prevent excessive suds.

Place a shallow pan on the floor beside the washer and then pull the drain hose out and place the end of it in the shallow pan to see if the washer will gravity drain. If it does, then excessive suds or a drain pump problem could be causing this failure. If the water does not drain or drains extremely slowly, you could have a clog in the drain system of the washer.

Morning, LG WD1295FB error OE, plese advise

An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes. However, the OE error code does not always mean that the washer requires a service call. If periodic maintenance has not been performed on the washer, there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service. oe_led.jpg oe_lcd.jpg LED display models LCD Display Models Step 1: Check the drain pump filter. We have 1 ton window ac and its not cooling properly and forming ice, also its not draining out water properly

the fact that it is not draining could be the problem with it freezing up. you might have to pull it out of the window, pop the cover off and clean the drain pan so it will drain properly. also make sure the unit is level . if it still freezes up once draining properly it is probably low on charge.

Water left in the units top & bottom

From what you describe, the drain hoses are not properly connected.

1. Each drawer has its own drain hose. Each hose should terminate at the drain point with a 'Y' adapter.
2. Inspect the drain point (under the sink where the drain pipes are) to make sure this 'Y' adapter is present. (you should see two drain hoses from the DW). If not present, then the DW drain lines are not installed properly. (Someone took a shortcut and installed the 'Y' adapter behind the DW)
3. If terminated properly, make sure the drain hoses extend upward as they leave the drain point.

It is important the drain lines are connected properly to ensure proper drainage from the DW. Consult the installation manual for complete details.
