This unit is in what is called "protect" mode/ See the link below for an explanation of this. Specifically to your unit, the output components are unique to Kenwood and are not cheap. Further investigation to locate the reason for the protect mode will be necessary prior to any attempt to estimate the cost of repair. Something as simple as a missign voltage can cause this symptom.

Please feel free to update this with any other questions or concerns that you may have.

Kenwood krf v5300d

I'd Google "Kenwood KRF V5300D remote control". Surely you will find a replacement available from someone. This worked for me to find one for a LG BluRay player.

I found them in the UK for example, at http://www.findremotes.com/remote-controls-1/kenwood-remote-controls-krfv5300d-1238517.htm

How do we insert the coffee pods

Open the brew mechanism. Opening the brew
mechanism will initiate the heating of the water and the
HEATING light will flash.
2 Place a clean cup on the cup stand, adjusting the height of the
stand up or down so that the rim of the cup is close to the
brew mechanism.
• To adjust the cup stand, insert your finger in the center
of the stand, lift and turn.
• To avoid spilling over, please choose the right sized cup for
the drink you are making.
3 Position your choice of T-DISC on the T-DISC holder, label facing
down. Firmly close the brew mechanism by pressing the clamp
down until it shuts. The HEATING light may flash again as the
machine heats the water to the required temperature for
your drink.
4 When the AUTO light illuminates, press and release the start/stop
button. Brewing will start automatically. There may be a short pause
during brewing; this is normal and is designed to draw out the full flavor
of your drink. The AUTO light flashes throughout the brew cycle. When
the machine has finished brewing, the indicator light will move from
AUTO to MANUAL and then, after a delay of 30 seconds, to HEATING.
5 Open the brew mechanism, remove the T-DISC and discard.
Your drink is now ready to be enjoyed.
You can prepare the next beverage right away by repeating
steps 2 - 5.

hello ,i strongly suspect the units protect circuit is sensing a speaker problem.Listen to each speaker to see if all the drivers(woofer, midrange, tweeter) are working and if so are any of them sounding distorted. When an amp is damaged it wont play at all, sounds like a bad speaker to me.

Hi

It sounds like the unit is going into a 'Protect' mode, if this is the case, it is detecting a short circuit on the Output stage. The first thing you should do is disconnect all the speaker wires whilst the unit is un-plugged and then re-test, if it then starts up ok there must either be a problem with one of the speakers or the speaker wires were short circuit down the the casing of the unit, i.e frayed wires of one of the positive cables touching the casing. If the unit still goes into protect then it is posible the output device inside the amplifier has been damaged in which case it will need to be serviced.

Garage door will not open

The light flashing 5 times is the code for RPM sensor or motor overload. The RPM sensor is a small printed circuit board just in front of the motor. I would really doubt it is a motor problem unless you have been operating the opener enough that the thermal overload protector has shut it down. It will start running again as soon as it's cooled off.
