1. Replace the power chord.

WARNING HIGH VOLTAGE: Do not attempt to work on your set without another person present who is trained in CPR

If the power chord is a plug in type , plug it back in.
if the power chord was ripped out , you need to repair it.
if the power chord was broken before you discovered it, you will also need to repair it.

I do mean a proper repair not just an electrical tape job.

Tcl tv won't turn on. Had a blank screen, turned tv off and now won't turn back on

You could first check that the power cord is connected to the TV as it may be loose. If the power cord is connected to the TV properly then try a power cycle. This includes firstly unplugging the TV from the power socket and then pressing the power button on the TV and holding it down for around 60 seconds. The final step is to plug the TV back in and try to switch it back on again.

Why wont my lg 50 plasma tv turn

Perhaps replace your power cord. Borrow power cord from repair shop. If it works it's the cord. Also if the TV is plugged into power bar make sure the power bar hasn't been inadvertently turned off.

Tv come with no sound or pict.

Check whether the product is turned on.
Try another channel. The problem may be with the broadcast.
Is the power cord inserted into wall power outlet?
Check your antenna direction and/or location.
Test the wall power outlet, plug another product's power cord into the outlet where the product's power cord was plugged in.
If these tips don't work, you can also try to power cycle the TV. Turn the TV off and unplug it for about a minute. Plug it back in and power it back on to reset the settings back to factory default.

My 32inch lcd tv keeps flickering it started all the sudden

TRY THIS

    • 1 Turn the TV off with the front-mounted power button, not the remote. Unplug the TV's power cord from the wall outlet. Let an hour pass before plugging the cord back into the wall outlet. Turn the TV back on with the front-mounted power button and wait until it has fully restarted. Bring up a TV channel to see if the image being presented on the LCD screen is no longer flickering. A momentary power surge can cause the circuitry inside the LG-brand LCD TV to function erratically.
    • 2 Unplug the video cable from the video connection on the back or side panel of the LG TV. If more than one video cable is connected to the TV, disconnect all of them. Disconnect the other end of the video cable from the video source device that it's attached to -- a DVD or Blu-ray player, or a satellite receiver or cable box. Blow off the connections on the video source device and on the back or side panel of the TV with bursts of compressed air. Reinsert one end of the video cable into the video source device and the other end into the video input that it was connected to. Turn the TV back on with is remote to see if the picture is now free of flickering. A loose or partially connected video cable can cause the LCD TV's screen to flicker when presenting an image.
    • 3 Turn the TV off and unplug its power cord from the wall outlet. Place a power conditioner next to the wall outlet. Plug the power conditioner's power cord into the wall outlet. Plug the TV's power cord into one of the AC sockets on the power conditioner. Turn the power conditioner on. Turn the TV on to see if the picture is now free of flickering. The RF signals in the electric line that the LG TV is drawing power from can cause flicking through interference patterns being generated.
