I recommend you to call Canon on this.
Call this number and have them see if they can help. 1-800-652-2666
They may want to have a look at it and then will give you an estimate (they will pay postage both ways if they repair it, otherwise you have to pay the return postage, if you decide not to repair it at all) which you can turn down or opt to upgrade should the camera cost too much. They can give a great upgrade price on a completely repaired camera of your choice of what is in stock. These are called a refurbished cameras, which means it comes with everything as if it was new. Also a warranty, may depend on the model.

Black screen when taking pictures and videos.

I just had this problem! And the answer is simple - just hit the DISP. button and the image should return.

My view finder is screen is black..... when I take a picture, it shows the pic taken then goes back to a blank screen... it happened at a concert... it was fine then it went black

Think that you might have accidentally pressed the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the LCD display on and off to save batteries. You would then use the optical viewfinder in its place. To turn the screen back on, just press the DISP button one more time.

When i capture a pic in day light than picture will come faded and when i capture in night it comes nice one my camera model is exilim ex z60

make sure the camera's settings are set to normal, since, the lens might be sensitive to daylight. You can actually change this at the settings, and, you said that it works fine at night or at dark areas? Yeah, the lens could be sensitive to bright lights! Simply adjust the sensitivity and you're all set!

No Picture

Did you have color problems in past? Most of these sets have convergence problems. Amps goes out. But you should have seen some type of distortion from color, red, blue, green. If no color problems then maybe vertical ouput out or horizontal output bad.

CCD sensor faulty and camera will not work in capture mode ... only playback mode. Have new CCD block installed and camera will work fine.
