The power went out while I was washing a load on my Maytag Epic Z front loader machine. The code is F-01 that comes up. I have tried to reset it by pressing the pause/ cancel button twice. Unplugging it for over 15 minutes, took off the hoses and then putting them back, unscrewed the back metal plate and took the top off to see if I could get the door open. All of these have failed me and my wet clothing is still stuck in the machine. There is still water in the machine which may be the reason for the F-01 reading. What are my options now?

There is a no reset on these machines. The only reset that you can do is to unplug the machine for several minutes.

have the lag bolts been removed in the back - the ones used to stabilize the drum in transit?

Check the door seal for tears and the drain boot from tub to drain boot for anything that might have put a hole in like a piece of metal from an under wire bra which front loads will spin so fast that the wires come out of the bras.

when my front loader was giving me the f-01 there were three diffrent times one was water pressure 2 was soap wat to suddy 3 not enough power which is the most common another was off balance and load to heavy funny they all have the same err code #
