What so ask th gmail address and what what if your phone is off like it don't work such as txting and calling andi put on the pattern security to unlock it and it won't let me go I forgot my pattern password what should I do

i gota first activate the data internet and the enter your e-mail and password and then its done :)

Switchoff ur mobile and try to press these buttons together
Volume + Home + Power together...and hold upto 15-20...u appears a screen...try to wipe data/factory reset using volume down keys and select it using power button.....
NOTE:-try to remove ur simcard and memory card before u do these things or else u may lost ur data...

At phone set up, all passwords and patterns are conmected to your email. Enter the password usually 5 times incorrectly, look for the prompt to ask you to log in with your email or something. Most Samsungs have a bavkup protocol for this. Look at the lower portion of the notification of too many unlock attempts. It should be there.
