Choosing Clear all data or Reset device is the same and will return the phone to original factory settings deleting pics, vids, messages, and any downloaded apps.

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions. ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000 Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000

Noticed the same problem today. The "set date" option wouldn't let me reset the day, month or year to anything sensible. Changed the date format to MM/DD/YYYY (it was previously DD/MM/YYYY). Then it let me set correct month, day and year. Reset the date format back to DD/MM/YYYY and it's still correct (and will now let me change it while in this format). Don't understand it, but seems to have fixed the problem. (Guessing it was something to do with 2009 changing to 2010??). worked for 2011 also.
i got in touch with tmobile about this problem with my phone and they told me to take battery out and sim card to reset it and so far its working hope his helps
