hi! i have here a couple of codes for your Viewsonic tv, just try them, 1038, 1149, 1180, 1181, 1182, 1183, 1184, 1185, 1186, 1187, 1188, 1189, 1190, 1205, 1206, 1441, 1361, 1489, 1495, hope this helps!!!! goodluck!!!

For the remote codes, Viewsonic does not have any since the universal remote comes furnished with a code book from the "MAKER" of that Universal Remote. I have heard that the Philips TV brand codes for universal remotes work on quite a few series' of Viewsonic TV's, so try those from your code book.

To control a Viewsonic TV with a One for All URC-3021, follow these steps:

1) Turn on your TV.

2) On the remote, press the TV key once.

3) Press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.

4) Enter the four-digit code 1755.
The LED will blink twice.
If it does not blink twice, go back to step 2 and try the same code again.

5) Aim the remote at the TV and press POWER.
The device should turn off.
If it does not turn off, repeat steps 2 through 5 with the next code in the list.

Yes you can purchase the remote from Viewsonic Online Parts Store or I have seen them for sale at remotes.com and that 3rd party store gives a 1 yr. warranty unlike VS 90 day warranty on the remote. I had the same problem with a Viewsonic N3735W LCD TV and Comcast Customer DVR 3 Device remote. I contacted Viewsonic and they gave me 11454 which works.

universal remote should work fine, if tv is not listed most have a search feature to find correct codes.
