Unfortunately you have not told us the make and model ;-0(
However many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter- so many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motorfilter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play. It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

For the flash lights to be fast is because one of the bulds is fused n needs to be changed. Wen all flash lights are flashing wen you press one side its basically tht there is a short circuit on your switch control unit
sounds like its the moter! when it goes in to spin the carbon brushes makes sparks and would prob do this but it normaly does it when the machine has been working a year aprox depending on use! it should not do this if its new or a month old! if under warrenty i would call them to get it checked as sparks is not good!
I may need more details but is this the way it goes?
1. Turn on the radio, or remote control
2. Turn the power switch in the copter to the on position
At this point, you should see the green light flashing on the control. Simply move the lever that controls your elevation to the full up position and then let it come back down to neutral. The light on your control should now be on with no blinking.
At this point, you are ready to go as advancing that "up" lever again will get that rotor spinning!
The manufacture set it up this way so that you dont accidently "bump" the control before you are actually ready to fly which prevents injury or damage to the copter.
Hi, Problems with a washing machine not spinning or not draining are often inter related.. If you are having a problem with your top load washer then check out this tip...
Describe wierd - this word means nothing.
White flash images are over exposed- so reduce the
ISO setting to a lowers number if the camera allows it.
or
Reduce power of the flash.
The easiest way to do this is to put layers of tissue of the light reducing the intensity until you get it about right.
Is the machine emptying all water before it tries to spin?
