It would be nice to have a VGA or HDMI connection with a cable to the tv with appropriate ports on the back. Can get cables from Ebay or Amazon.

A laptop won't last long without being charge, a fully charge battery should last about 1hr 30mins so charge the battery while your watching a movie next time.

When streaming off the internet or watching movie computer glitches.Seems to be trying to keep up, but cant.Whats wrong with my laptop?

Could be several things but it sounds like you don't have a fast internet connection. Generally to watch movies you need 3MB or faster.
If you are watching via Wifi plug in your ethernet connection.

Whenever I try to watch video on my computer it keeps pausing then starting back up. It is very choppy with the constant starts and stops. What causes this and how can I fix it?

If you are watching online video this is normal for a slow internet connection. Live streaming needs alot of bandwidth. Its not your laptop.

Is it ok with a DVD movie or downloaded movie??
