Can some tell me what might be wrong with this set from looking at the pic? I had this set about 16 months and turned it on one day and it looked like this. Would this be a IC convergence problem? I have been reading about this problem on these sets and how cheap it may be to fix it on my own, but I'm concerned about electrical shock and I have no clue on how to adjust the new IC's. If it is a IC convergence problem, would it be better to buy a new board with the IC's already on it or would they need adjusting also? Anyone have a idea would a new board would cost?
Thanks
Pin cushion distortion. It is an internal circuit fault. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

have pts rebuild the board which will cost around $130, www.ptscorp.com, or replace the stk392-110 x 2 located on the convergence panel.

PCB's when available, are expensive.Replace convergence IC(s), re-adjust and you are good to go!

cost would be about 300.00 and it would be worth it to fix
