My camera screen is all pink - Fuji FinePix A800 Digital Camera

Make your screen pink because purple doesn't go good on a screen

May i please know the model and the make of the product in details so that it can help me resolving the issue is a more prompt manner

Hello Cathy, The "AF" means auto focus, The pink screen and the lines are a camera fault, you are going to need the camera checked to see what the internal problem is, it is not something that you are doing wrong, it is the camera.

For this problem try doing the ff:

• transfer the photos to the computer
• set the camera in auto mode
• take a picture
• if the picture is still pink and blurry even after transferring to your computer
• call the tech number 18002356325

You CCD-chip is giving up it's ghost.
DIY-repair possible, but Fuji refuses to sell chips.

I am afraid your CCD is faulty.
No diy possible unless you can find a working CCD-chip.

Your Canon A80 has problem of defective CCD Imager Sensor and this part need to be replaced.

It sounds as though you may have a faulty lcd. Replace lcd(screen) and see if it solves the problem

the electronic viewfinder on almost all digital cameras if even they got one is a tiny resolution screen or a mirror reflecting the bigger or smaller lcd screen. switch to your Lcd screen and see if colors are ok or still pink, also look at pictures you have taken. if ok the problem soly lies on the viewfinder which I have many cameras like it and come to think of it they looked aliittle pink too. the view finder helps you only in sunny conditions that you cant see your regular Lcd screen. and should be able to give you a good idea of what you are shooting. pink in real digital colors means you lost some green . look through your menu and see if there is an adjustment for it if not and you cant live with it return for exchange. I looked up the specs and would love this camera. good luck
