SOURCE: why does push power protector keeps flashing in

This is an error massage and comes when home theater got some internal problem specially in amplifier output section that can have defective output IC etc.
It is not user level repair and requires qualified tech for fix.
Thanks.

If it really says, "Push power protector", there should be a reference to it in your owner's manual. Check there first.

Power protector on sony surround sound system

Power protect is an error message that some thing is wrong in your sound system and requires qualified tech.

Normally that error message appears when unit got problem in amplifier output section, either it is speaker problem or some output chip is fried.
