I'm no TV expert, but I can share what little knowledge I have, specially what I went through with my plasma TV. It happen in mine, and I got the Y Board fix. When mine was blinking, there was no power, but it wasn't the power board, so searching for an answer in the internet, I found out that it could be one of the boards (Y board or Z board) In my case was the Y board, so I took it to a professional and he fix it for me. If the red light is blinking but wont turn on . your tv has a defect. maybe the defect is on the board. causing not to osolate.needs a qualified technician to fix your problem.
