How can I overcome an error my android keeps receiving Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-7:AEC-0 ?

Hi, from what I found it is an error related to the Google Play services. Here are a few pages I found referring to similar errors:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-nexus-5/433573-google-play-services-outage-rpc-s-7-aec-0-error.html

Error Message RPC 7 AEC 0 Android Forums at AndroidCentral com

I would suggest you either contact the Google Play support number or use their support forum.

I hope this helps.

When I try to download an App, I get an ERROR that says: Error retrieving information from server. [RPC-S-5:AEC-0]. How can I get this to download apps?

Fixing RPC:S-5:AEC-0 Google Play Store Error

The Google Play / Android Market error retrieving information from server RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error message can be a bit of a pain, the RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error just randomly appeared on my tablet after it upgraded to a newer version of Android. However this is how i managed to fix the RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error with ease.
  1. Load the Settings app, click apps, then select "All"
  2. Next in the all apps view find the "Google Play Store" and click on it
  3. Now click "Clear Cache" (Not Data), then Force Stop.
  4. Next in the same app list find "Google Service Framework"
  5. Click clear data (Not Cache), then Force Stop
  6. Switch off the phone or tablet and turn it back on
  7. You should be able to download and update apps from the Google Play store once more.

Enjoy no more RPC:S-5:AEC-0 errors when downloading or updating apps.
Or Simply Go to settings/app.manager/all
Delete data + cache :
Google Play Store
Google Play-services
Google Services Framework
Hangouts
Market-feedback agent (important)
Then delete google-account(data/system/user/0/ fine the accounts.db file and cut and paste it somewhere else)
Restart the phone and then re-add google-account( paste your accounts.db file earlier to it's original location).
p/s~Your device need to be rooted to remove/delete google account without a factory reset.

enjoy and have a good day :)

No internal drive appear during booting

Try changing the SATA / IDE mode in the Bios. Make sure the BIOS is seeing the hard-drive.

My toshiba r15-s822 says it has no drive and gives a (Ide#0 ERROR) i had a virus and i formated the drive a while back and i got a new windows xp install but i cant seem to load it cause it wont show the...

Xp can only "See" a hard drive up to about 128GB, if its bigger than that, XP won't install.

Make sure your drive is properly connected, and jumper in the right place (1 drive, set to master)
If it used to work before your problem, should be ok.

Then boot from your windows disk. If your bios is set to boot from the hard drive, if there's no operating system on your hard drive it can't boot.

If its set to boot from the hard drive first, it may, after a few seconds revert to booting from the disk drive. If not, while booting watch the screen, at the bottom it you should see "Press F2 for setup or F10 for boot options" or something similar. To temporarily change the settings, choose the boot options menu and select "Boot from CD". Restart and you should be on your way.

If that doesn't work, you may need a new hard drive.

Panasonic TOUGHBOOK CF-18 Took out HD to reload windows as it would not load but stuck at the safe / last known good config etc. Loaded XP onto HD via an ACER laptop and reinserted it into ToughBook -...

I think your actually having issues getting it to run on the toughbook because it uses different drivers for everything from the Acer computer. If you press F8 while booting up you can choose the option "Disable automatic restart (of system errors or something)". Then when the machine boots up you should get a blue screen giving you an error code like "IRQ_EQUAL_TO_OR_GREATER_X Error: 0x0000005f. You could try to see what the message is trying to tell you to resolve it but the error msg would likely point to the driver that its trying to load that's most likely different from the toughbook you have. I'd suggest getting an external cdrom/dvdrom and install windows from a disc onto the toughbooks hd while its in that toughbook machine.

Hey folks, first time poster here. I have a HP Compaq 2710p Tablet PC. The error is "Non-System disk or disk error. Replace and stike key when ready" Is this drive toast or can the data be recovered? If...

Normally this means the cpu is trying to boot from your cd drive and it is a non system disk in the drive. When you boot your cpu open the drive and make sure it is empty. If so if you have any other disks or mem cards in the cpu then remove them and your cpu should start up. If this is not the case, let me know and I will help you further.

If you can install Windows Vista and only XP not work for sure this is the solution :
SATA operation mode is AHCI
To change this :
Open BIOS
Look for SATA Operation Mode or somethin equivalent and change-it to IDE or Compatibility Mode.

Boot

sounds like hard disk faliure, suggest getting a new hard disk or perhaps attempt a system reinstall. Its not the fan but the hard disk.
