Replace stk73907 with ix1791ce doesnot work - Sharp 19R-M100 19" TV

the door interlock has failed

other then try to leave it off and struggle with the door

you need sometimes to release it from behind
not easy sometime with some machines

the replace the door lock interlock catch

it will work fine then

1) replace the batt by new ones.
2) clean the contacts batteries with c. cleaners
3) Retight the springs contacts from batteries for better contacts very important, use pliers.
4) If this doesnot work, open the remote, and clean the keypads, from dust, dirty, oxide. with c. cleaner.The syscom must be work very clean, sending signa I.R transmission
5) if this doesnot resolve the problem go to the repair shop TV, for fix it. see the block.

Has there been a recall on them? Call dealership.

Check all the related connected components to this STK IC, before replacing a new one. Any fault in associated components, especially to zener diodes; might burn out the new one, as soon as you switch ON the set. So, before replacing an other one, chek all the assciated components for failure. OK.

mostly this problem cause opto coupler is short. change the opto coupler and related parts like transistors,zener diode.and check all diodes&capacitors is power supply. you find any leaky or damaged part change it.

there is a blown fuse in driver side fuse box.

does any thing come on? if not you ignition switch is bad. and that will need to be replaced.

If you have not already, register your product with the company. And contact them regarding the malfunction. they should replace the part or the product if you send it in.

Charge it for a full 16 hours before using it. If it still doesn't work, get it replaced. If that doesn't fix the issue, you have either a charger or camera problem.
