I needed to unplug it about 20 times to start it and it would work perfect but now it wont switch on at all . eamon

Unplug it and wait 20 - 30 minutes. The compresor needs 10 to 15 minuts of off time to re-start. Power losses of less than 5 minutes will cause the compressor thermal overload to cycle repeatedly until something fails or in the case of non-electronic control defrost timers... the next defrost cycle. What happens is the coolant pressures are so high that the compressor can not start. Let it stabilize for 20 - 30 minutes by unplugging it and try it again. If that does NOT work respond here and we will help you.

If you already have moved it wrong, you can sometimes get it working byplugging it in and unplugging it a number of times with an hour or so inbetween.

check the kill switch, all the fuses and the key position.The ignition switch may need electrical contact cleaner.

Sounds like an overheating problem. Clean the dust out of it, make sure it can get air on all sides, make sure the fans are turning. If that doesn't work, unplug the computer, hit the power button 20 times, wait 1/2 hour and boot it up.

Did you try unhooking the power cable from the KVM (not just turning off) ? Leave it out for about 20 seconds and try it again.

I'm assuming that your on/off is a lever or switch built into the pressure switch. If so, the pressure switch sounds like the problem.

most of the time this nan be done with a short pieice of electrical wire with a spade connecter at each end. unplug the switch and plug in the wire making a connection between yhe two terminals.
