Keyless chucks have two parts (see pictures) when the drill is in operation both parts spin. Assuming you put the drill bit in and tightened the
keyless chuck by hand, put on a work glove and grasp the part of the chuck at the front of the drill, grasp the other part and twist the front part anti clockwise.
If this does not work you can hold the front of the chuck and reverse the direction of the motor as if you were unscrewing
something, then pull the
trigger. If your hand does not grasp the chuck tight enough it will slip, hence the glove. If this does not work you may have to hold the front of the chuck in a vice or with
caliper pliers and again the pull the
trigger with the drill in reverse.
All this depends on what you used to put the drill bit in with your hand tight or held onto it with
something else. Whatever was used should be enough to
loosen the chuck
Hope this helps.
If it does let
fix ya know.
Cheers
