I'm trying to add an RSS bookmark to Chrome tool bar, how do I do this?
With Firefox this is very simple, but I'm unable to do this in Chrome.
I love reading peoples comments. The first discusses how to bookmark a page even though the initial question was clearly how to add an RSS feed. This is because the first person always rushes to respond without reading.
The second user actually gives a solution, but should have mentioned that at that time simply Chrome does not support RSS feed reader but through URL hacking it could be accomplished their the users solution.
Then of course the third response who always add I dont know anything about what you want, but I know other browser that does. Even though the original poster already mentioned he knew how to do it in Firefox, signifying he has another browser (better than Opera) that supports it but that he simply wanted to know how to do it in Chrome specifically.
People please read questions and only respond if you know the answer.
Add this as a Chrome Bookmark all on one line.
javascript:var%20b=document.body;var%20GR________bookmarklet_domain='http://www.google.com';if(b&&!document.xmlVersion){void(z=document.createElement('script'));void(z.src='http://www.google.com/reader/ui/subscribe-bookmarklet.js');void(b.appendChild(z));}else{location='http://www.google.com/reader/view/feed/'+encodeURIComponent(location.href)}

Wanting the same things you guys are talking about I created an extension as a weekend project that mimics Firefox live bookmarks functionality by syncing bookmark folders with a feed.

I dont know how to configure in chrome.. But try Opera 10.. which has a RSS reader (Feeds) inbuilt. I think it will be ok!
Just click on the Customize button(this is on the very right side of the address bar) and check "always show bookmarks bar". After that just right-click on the bookmarks bar(this is the bar below the address bar) and click on Add Page.
You can also bookmark a web page you're on, simply by clicking on the "star" next to the Home Button.
This is bookmark. not rss

I have the same problem
I'd like Chrome to aggregate my RSS Feeds and report on new items, just like Firefox with the extantion. It's not about just Bookmarking an RSS Feed page.
me too
Google Chrome doesnt have an inbuilt RSS feed reader . (like Firefox's Live Bookmarks)
RSS
