Error code E64?
On this model, as I'm sure you have noticed, the trap tends to drop quit a bit of the lint, in which the lint trap isn't to effective and the seal of the duct its attached to isn't "sealed". From my personal experience when I ran into this issue I just simply had to take the back off the machine, clean out all the lint (i even found 2 dollars in silver in there) and checked all the connections down in the base. I even went as far as removing the top and checking the connections on the control board, but considering I removed a 3 inch layer of lint from inside I honestly think that wasn't an issue. From observation I would also be sure to try and remove the lint from around rollers for the drum just for good maintenance. If all else fails get a multi meter and between these two sites you should be on your way to repairs if you really are trying to save money.

The E64 error code is telling you that there is a problem with the heater You will need to take the dryer apart and check the heater circuit.

Heater has an open circuit and need to be replaced. Here is the part you need.
Hello friend, that's a great question!
From my understanding your Frigidaire Affinity dryer is displaying an error code of "E64". An "E64" error code stands for the heater circuit is open. This could be a possible problem with your heater, wiring harness, or even a miscommunication within your dryer. In order to clear out any miscommunication you can perform a reset on your dryer and to do that you need to unplug the power cord for at least ten minutes. If this does not help to resolve your issue I would recommend having a professional technician out diagnose and repair your dryer to help avoid any future issues or unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt
