I downloaded Bittorrent.exe but can't install or open it. Keep getting message that it can't be opened. What to do? Anyone?

I have tried to watch a torrent movie but Bittorent either isn't installed or is unable to open it.

If you've got a Microsoft Surface with Windows RT you only can install and execute apps from the store. This is a restriction by the OS.
Also you can't install apps if you are NOT an administrator or there are some other restrictions (e.g. security software blocks installations, TPM modules, family safety, ...)

Bitorrent movies- hmm. If this is a copied movie or a movie that is "leaked" or anything possibly infringing on a copyright in the u.s. you are looking for trouble. Bittorrent in the clear (NOT behind a VPN) tracks what you are doing. Your I.P address on the internet is logged and anything illegal is possibly being tracked. Just a heads up. I have yet to see anything that is legally downloadable when the words torrent and movie are in the same sentence.

If you insist in trying to load this thing bittorrent is just a peer to peer file transfer program. Try VLC (google it) it can play most movie formats these days and is completely free. Once the movie is completely downloaded you can open it in bittorrent program by clicking on it- provided vlc is loaded on your p.c.

Trying to open a movie I was watching earlier. Why do I keep getting error messages?
If you were streaming the movie and the connection was lost, or the file information is partially corrupted; too many apps open and not enough available memory. If you haven't already double tapped the home button and cleared all the apps except for the movie app try that. If it's in iTunes try syncing the file again.

How do I open downloaded files?
I'm not sure what tablet and operating system you have but .exe files are typically Windows-based applications. Those won't run on a Android or Apple tablet, for example.

For viewing PDFs you need PDF viewing software. Again, depending on the tablet version you have you may need to install the appropriate version reader. PDF is an Adobe product and available from them for free. Adobe Reader Download Free PDF viewer for Windows Mac OS Android

Have anhotc1100 I don't know alot about computers. I can not get it to stop on the blue screen of death to see what may be the problem. I have tried to photograph so I can read,the most I can get is that...
1. On boot up keep tapping F8, then select safe mode with networking
2. type TDSSKILLER.EXE in google.
3 Download tdss.killer.exe to your desktop screen (not the tdsskiller.zip file)
4. Install tdsskiller.exe and run a scan.
5 Once scan is complete, select cure.
6 Reboot your system as normal and everything should work just fine and no more blue screen.

If you get a blue screen of death (BSOD) after trying this method you will have to reinstall windows and the problem will stop.

I have used this method myself on 4 laptops and has fixed every single one. Best news of all is that tdsskiller is a freeware program that sorts all of your drivers in the system32 folder and it's FREE.

I cannot open AppsLib on my Coby Tablet.
Installing the Windows software, Kryos USB drivers, and updating your Appslib:

  1. Download and install The Java Development Kit 6 here: https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/CDS-CDS_Developer-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-Start?ProductRef=jdk-6u24-oth-JPR@CDS-CDS_Developer
  2. Download and unzip the android-sdk-r07-windows.zip file to the C: drive on your computer: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
  3. Go to the android-sdk-windows folder that you unzipped
  4. Launch SDKManager.exe
  5. Under choose which package to install, click accept all. As a part of what it is downloading, it will download the Android USB drivers. This part will probably take like 30 minutes or more to complete.
  6. Once the download is done, close the SDK Manager.
  7. You should now see a folder called usb_driver. Open that folder.
  8. You will see a file called android_winusb.inf. Replace that file with the one downloaded here: http://rapidshare.com/files/435451166/android_winusb.inf
  9. Plug in your Kyros device. Windows will still not find the driver for the device, but go into the Device manager, and select AndroidEclair, and update driver, browse my computer, let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
  10. Click "Have Disk" and browse to the c:\android-sdk-windows\usb_driver folder. Double click on android_winusb.inf.
  11. Select Android ADB Interface.
  12. It will then come up with some messages about this is unsigned or something, are you sure you want to do this, click yes or continue.
  13. Then it will install the driver and detect the kyros.
  14. Download appslib_2.apk here: http://files.appslib.com/apps/marketplace/v2/Appslib_2.apk
  15. Make sure you have external SD card (optional)
  16. Make sure your wireless is setup, on, and works.
  17. Under Settings (press the M button on the home screen to access settings)
  18. Select Applications, and make sure Unknown Sources is checked.
  19. On the Force prompt, select wait.
  20. If step 19 doesn't work you have 3 choices: A: call their customer service B: return to the home screen or C: Go to step 21
  21. Get the Droid Explorer for your Windows PC
  22. Make sure your KYROS is connected to the PC and launch DROID Explorer.
  23. Now you can uninstall apps or install apps.
  24. You need to download Appslib_2.apk, if you haven't already, click here and download the file to your PC.
  25. Uninstall the old Appslib before you install the new version Applib2.
  26. Transfer the Appslib_2.apk file to the [DOWNLOAD] folder on your device. Unplug your device.
  27. Open the File Manager on your tablet, go into the Download folder, and tap twice on the Appslib_2.apk file that you will find there to start the installation.
  28. Follow the on-screen instruction to install this newer version of the Appslib applications.
  29. At the end of the installation, select: "Open".

How can I download .exe files onto my iPad Safari keeps saying it cannot download file
.exe files are Microsoft Windows Executable files, that can only run on Microsoft Windows. They cannot be run on the iPad, so Safari doesn't download them.
The place to get apps for the iPad is the App Store - have a search, there'll probably be something that can do what you need. Out of interest, what are you trying to do? I may be able to suggest an app.
