There's no problem with the outlet. I get no lights on the control panel and no sounds at all. I've taken it apart, but the fuse doesn't look like it's replaceable without replacing the Main PC board. If it's likely to be either the main or the display PCB, I'm pretty sure I could replace them.

I'm assuming the that you determined the unit is getting power, because the lights on the dehumidifier light up, when you turn Master ON/OFF Switch ON.
If that's the case, it may simply be that the humidity level you have it set for is equal to or higher than the humidity level in the house. In which case, lower the humidity level to it's lowest setting to see if the unit turns on then. Also, check the water collection bucket, making sure it's installed properly and is making good contact with the safety trigger.
Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

I'd say you're right on target. In which case, although the unit was manufactured my Whirlpool for Sears under their house brand, Kenmore. You can find the part(s) online at Sears Parts Central
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action . If you can do the replacement yourself, you'll really save $$ on labor.
Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

It could need replacing or the outlet that the unit is plugged into is at fault. Check you main circuit breaker panel, to see if a breaker has been tripped. Also, check the outlet's receptacle for internal damage or a loose or broken wire. In addition, try plugging it into another receptacle that is on a different circuit, than the one it's plugged into now. All these things are part of the process of elimination, in troubleshooting and finding the problem.
Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

clean the condenser in the front or the filter if it has one. no air flow to cool it down will result in overheating and no condensation collection across the evaporator coil.
Hey friend, I appreciate your inquiry!
If your Frigidaire dehumidifier is not powering on it could be an issue within the control panel or power cord. I see you checked the outlet it was plugged into, I would test your appliance in another outlet. If you still receive the same response it sounds like it could be a problem within the panel or power cord. Is your appliance under warranty? If so, I would advise you to reach out to the manufacturer to determine any potential remedy. -Matt
