The door is designed to stay shut at the end of a cycle usually for about 4 minutes, even if you switch the machine off at the mains. Other than that you probably need a repair.

I believe there is a setting where you can turn the beeping alarm off completely. Read the manual and you should find it.

SOURCE: DOOR WONT OPEN

I'm afraid I don't have a solution, just the same problem. Exactly this has just happened to me and I don't know what to do. Calling out an engineer will be too expensive and in the mean time, I can't do any washing. Have you had any success yet?

SOURCE: Servis Easi Logic 1500(M6050) Washing Machine doesn't wash & spin

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question!!!!

Samsung wf8750lsw front loader door wont open

Not sure if you mean when it is fully off or operating, but if you mean that once it is operating the door won't open, then the following applies...

Once a front loader wash cycle starts, the door on a front loader is physically (electronically) locked until the full cycle ends after spin dry. This is to prevent anyone opening the door and letting all the water out in the middle of the wash cycle, which a lot of people try to do to put in more clothing etc.

Lg wd-8013, all lights on at end of cycle door wont open

It sounds like you have a faulty interlock. This is what locks the door during the wash cycle.Sometimes they won't unlock and need to be replaced. There may be a pull tab inside the pump access area at floor level to get door open....Not a big job for a tech......Nomess

Call the manufacture it will be under warranty if it's only 6 months old as the machine will have to be torn down to get to the defective switch, just the top will have to come off if your lucky.
