Ipad I have just got an ipad and dont know how to get started, do i need a sim card as it didnt come with any instructions.

• It is the sim card that is locked I presume.
• Go to settings
• Then to Phone
• There to Sim pin
• To Change Pin

Follow the instructions
If/when you are asked for the puk number then contact
your service provider who will give you a puk number.
If you follow the instructions your phone will function again.

There is no such thing as a free imei unlock code. If you need to unlock the sim in your iPad. (imei is connected to they Sim card) you can ask the provider to give you a new sim card with the same number. the new card has a new imei, new pin and new Puk.

Your iPad 2 must have 3G, with a sim card. For the sim you need the pin and after 3 misses you need the puk. The puk is on the letter or card that came with the original sim card. On that letter is the pin and puk. sometimes you have to scratch away the metal layer.

hi if it's ipad you need download and install Itunes to your pc/laptop Apple United Kingdom iTunes Download iTunes Now then connect ipad to pc, run ITunes and it should detect your tablet you will see it in the right upper corner. Click on it and you will be taken to the summary tab where you will see restore button. click on it and follow the instructions and your ipad will be restored.

I have not heard of supermarkets providing free WIFI. If you need internet access in places that dont offer it, you will need one of the following:
- A Mobile Hotspot (most modern phones can do this as an addon from the carrier approx $10 added to your bill)

It may be a case of wrong cutting of the micro sim. Since the iPad uses a microsim, you haveto make sure that the sim card is cut perfectly. Do not use a pair of scissors, you have to cut it specifically using a micro sim cutter. Or you can check if the placement of the sim card is correct.
