We moved our neptune dryer to our new cottage and it needed a new hookup. It worked for a while-but now it reads 88 and won't work. Is it the dryer or the electrical?

There are 3 ways i know to make the machine work. Press and try all buttons to see if it clears up, Put a heating pad over the display for a few minutes. if these don't work. You will need a new display unit.

Who ever posted put a heating pad on the display THANK YOU i put my wife's blow dryer on the back of the display and in 5 minutes its was working again THANKS AGAIN

There is a jumper in between the neutral and ground terminals. In order hook up the 4 prong plug correctly you need to remove that jumper to separate the ground and neutral terminals.

If the display shows an '88' then place a heating pad over the display. In a few minutes the '88' code will clear, and the dryer will work. Sounds crazy, but it works for me every time.

Tightened common power wire on terminals and solved problem.

PF= Power failure hit the cancel button and it should clear then you will be able to select a cycle. Let me know
