Magicolor 2200DL Hi. I have Minolta magicolor 2200DL and problem. After switch on the printer on LCD appear - "calibrating FW:412050G123D0". Do you know how repair the printer? Thank you, Tom.

    Thank you "iconzap" for answer. I don't know what happen before but after switch on the printer and waiting 4-5 minutes when the printer noisy crack, I can easily print on the printer. I ask you because I seen your answer at similar problem on FIXYA.

Calibrating FW:412050G123D0 I think it says calibrating firmware. what happen before you get this error? did you try to wait for a long time?

Is Minolta Magicolor 2200DL compatable with Windows 7 if not can it be used with Virtual device XP and if so how is that set up?

Yes it does work with Windows 7. The way to install it is NOt to run the Magicolor install routine supplied with the printer. Insteda in Windows 7 start menu, devices , add printer, clik on the ADD printer option (at the top) . Windows 7 will then come up with a suggested list of printers including the 2200DL. Ignore this as iot only allows a postscript driver to be installed. Instead choose the I have disk option. get windows to look for the install disk (or install files if downloaded from the QMS site and find the .inf file. Click on this. Windows 7 will then install the up to date Windows print engine files and marry it to the dteails for the 2200Dl details and you will end up with a Windows 7 driver. This works in Windows 7 home premium and professional.

Printing ghost images (shawdowing)

You'll have to align the print cartridges. You should be able to do this with the software that was installed with your printer. Hope this helps.

Firmware Problem !

What version firmware you have v2.0.7 ?
Try to update firmware again and read the instructions one more time. Try reboot holding stop button down
