SOURCE: broken LCD screen

Hello,
your answer to this problem is easy. First take the batteries out of the camera, then open the camera ( screws should be in the back) the screen should just pop out of the cover and there is a ribbon cable that connects the screen to the circut board. Gently un-hook that ribbon where it plugs in to the board there might be a slid lock to hold the ribbon in place, it should unlock when you pull the cable out (memorize what position the ribbon is before unplugging). Now the fun part, do the same thing to the other camera, (carefully). To install the new screen, plug the ribbon back into the slot and it should be snug, if not there is a lock on it, gently push it back away from the ribbon ( a little finger pressure). Now, simply put it back together the same exact way you took it apart and don't forget the batteries. Have fun taking pictures...

,my pc screen is pink

Symptoms line up with video card going out, or more likely screen going out. if you turn off the computer and turn it back on if its immediatly reddish/ pink tint then its your screen. Can be a bit expensive to fix. also could be as simple as the ribbon cable inside became loose, test this theory by lightly shaking the laptop. if the screen goes from good color and back to pinkish then that is your issue and you will need a repair shop if you are not comftable with opening up your machine! Good luck to you

My pictures have a purple tint to them

You're either using old/expired film, or taking photos during dusk. Color film is balanced for daylight photography. Using it under conditions other than that will result in varying color casts on the resulting images.

Fluorescent lighting: Greenish
Indoor bulbs: Reddish/orange
Outdoor at night/dusk: Blueish/purpla
Ourdoor at dawn: Pink/blue

Or, you may have just gotten bad print work done. Try a different lab.

46 toshiba plasma has red tint in back ground

If you can see the red tint with every input source and also in the On-Screen Menu, then this indicates that the Green phosphor is burning off of the screen faster than the Red and Blue. This is typical of plasma screens. Even if you dont watch a lot of golf or football, green is the most dominent color and burns out of the phosphur pits(pixels) faster than the Red and Blue. Take away green, you are left with Reddish looking screen and Pink whites. This is not repairable.
If the Menu looks nice and white, check your source cables.
Good luck

I have a 60" SONY VIDEOSCOPE KP-53V15 the person that i received it from said that the picture sometimes turns pink tinted (the best wasy I can explain this) ... Where things on the screen should be white...

In the back of set you have a red green and blue gun.
two or three problems with sony on this.
sum times the green gun will go intermit.
by gentely taping the neck of green gun while set is on, and you see corection, you need to replace green gun.
in others we have found bad soldier in the HV section of the flyback.
and sumtimes its due to louse conectors going to the HD input in back of the set.
hope this is of help to you.

daniel.

TV Picture is tinted pink

depending on how much you paid for the tv , the cost of the repair may be more than the tv is worth. but if this is a large tv , then the repair would be most likely worth it

Poor quality pictures

Check your picture settings, the wrong setting for the time of day or object can definetly throw off the appearance of your pictures. Plus, you may have accidentally set it to "warm" instead of auto or black and white, etc. Warm pictures have a reddish tint to them just as the cool have a blue tint. Also I have found the "night setting" only takes really good pictures if you are close to the subject otherwise it is pretty dark!
