First, check the vertical section maybe they had a lose connection specially the ic, second check the supply of the heater

if you can see if the screen lights from behind when the picture apears for a second then the problem is probably the invertor or worse the screen

Ihave had problems switching my thomson 30lcdb03 tv on for about 3/4 months. I have had a completely green screen, balnk screen with sound only, and a white ghosting on the picture. Now the tv will not...

thomsom or RCA tv;s are known for power supply issues
check yours for puffed up can like devices on both main and power board if you find one the value is on the side replace it and you will have fixed it won't hurt to try
