SWA-4000 doesn't adquire signal of HT-TX500 Home Theather

I have a Swa-4000 and i'm trying to connect it to a ht-tx500 home theather, but the signal light of the wireless module flashes for a while and then goes to stand by. I've already tried the way described in the manual but without any effect.

I have the same problem! Turn off main unit, press 0-1-3-5 on remote then press the button on the wireless unit. Link flashes for several seconds then goes back to standby. Rear unit says REAR CHK

Yes, I have the same problem. Ive tried turning off all other wireless devices in the house as suggested by Samsung Support. I even returned the first SWA-4000 in replacement for another and still find the blue light flashing several times and cant pick up the transmitter. Samsung support couldnt even suggest anything apart from they have the SWA-3000 which works fine. Not much of a sales pitch. Any suggestions?

I was having poor audio from the back speakers and didn't even know it; intermittently I'd hear them jump in volume, so myself being a little adventurous, decided to push the ID set button on the back, totally losing my ilnk... after digging and playing, I figured it out:
1.) Turn off the Head (main) Unit 2.) Power on the wireless receiver, being sure it is away from routers, other BT devices, etc. 3.) Push the "ID Set" button on the back of the wireless device and hold it until the lights on its front panel flash. 4.) Point the system's remote control at the Head Unit and punch in 0135.  Its light should turn from red to blue. 5.) Perform step 3 again. 6.) Power on the head unit.
Should link up.
Might be some redundancy there, but it works :)
Also I found that after a few cycles It seemed to work better (perhaps cycled to a better channel?)

Hi...im not sure how it happened...what i did was i pressed 0135, the main unit lit up and i pressed the id set or something like that on the back of the wireless reciever.....well the main unit should be back to red and once i pressed the id set i accidentaly pressed the power button so the main unit turned on...then i waited for the wireless reciver to boot up and worked.....

I had the card in upside down. Unfortunately, it fits both ways, but the slanted edge faces left).

My SWA-5000 is not connecting to my main unit, which is a samsung blu-ray home theater system. I have already tried what it has said on the manual, but it still wont turn on, it is just on standby. Please...

start with the main unit turned off. Press and hold the button on the back of the swa-5000 module until the light on front starts blinking fast. Then point the remote at the main unit and press 0-1-3-5-ENTER. The standby light on the main unit should turn off then back on. Turn on the main unit and it should find and link with the wireless amp.

Will a swa 5000 tx card fit a ht-tz225 home theater ststem

Unfortunately it would appear not. I just bought an SWA 5000 for my HT TZ 225 home threatre system as it would seem the SWA 4000 has been discontinued - the HT-TZ225 refers to the SWA 4000 doesn't it.

The tx card that accompanied the SWA 5000 was too big and did not fit in the back of the DVD player so I will have to return this to the retailer and keep looking for an SWA 4000 . . .

Unless anyone has another solution.

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hope this helps!

Google "Samsung SWA-4000" The HTz310 is wireless "ready" only. You'll need to purchase this unit for about $100 to make your (Rears only) wireless.

Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.
