Hi, well I have been looking in the web for some information but I can not find anything related. I have this problem with a Z600 lexmark printer, an ink cartdrige was replaced (with a new one) and just after that a Word document was tried to print, nothing, the printer makes all the printing "process" (ie. feed the paper move the printer ink head as when printing) but when the pages come out they are totaly blank. I first tought it was the cartdrige, but my surprise was when I tried to print a head align page, and it came fine. Then I tried printing something from the windows notepad, and nothing appeared. After that I uninstalled - rebooted - installed again the printer, and printed a test page, the test page printed, and after that tried to print again the document and again the page just was blank. Any Ideas?? Thank you. I have a problem with a Lexmark Z515. I have just Installed a New re-conditioned Cartridge, and the printer will not print. It goes through all the motions of a full print, but nothing printed. Tried to print a test page, but it will not even print that to enable me to allign the printer. It did print once, but the page was blurred and printed over certain lines multiple times so that the words were unreadable. But will not print even a blurred page again. I had a look in the troubleshhoting on my machine but not any help. Tryed re-seating the cartridge to make sure firmly connected and would not go down any further so I am guessing that its in as far as it will go. Previous cartridge was a No 17, and now have put a No 16 in, but the form facter looks identical so dont think that is the problem, only difference between the 2 cartridges should bo the amount of ink inside. Any suggestions what to do next?. Thanks.
Seemes very daft, and sounds like a twit, but not really.
When I recieved the new cartridge I placed it in the correct cartridge retainer in the printer matching up the dark green colour of the cartridge and the top clip, and it printed nothing even after a tryed re-seating it.
So I placed it in the other thinking maybe I somehow might have placed it in the wrong slot, so I placed it in the other (Colour), and set that up as I did the other, and it printed a blurred page but then stopped printing.
After that I then placed it back in the other cartridge retainer, set it up as the previous times when it did not work, and then it worked.
Seems strange and simple, but it did not work the first time at all, and after faffing with it finally did.
This might help someone, and then again might not.

I have a Lexmark 515 and for the life of me I can't remember which buttons to push and in what order to reset the level on the screen that comes up when you get the message .."printing has started". Help and Thanks.
