If the DVD disc is a -R disc it cannot be overwritten or formatted, this type is record on once. You would have to refer to the camera manual to determine what type of discs are usable in your camera. For using many times then the touch screen become some problem. if you have warranty then contact with vendor. otherwise you can try to format this. format code is*#7370#
You will probably have to reformat the SD card in either FAT or FAT32 format.
If that doesnt solve the problem you most likely have a corrupt card... if thats the case then theres little you can do about it and will most likely have to replace it.

It is unlikely that the card is causing any of the other listed problems. Some other factor is involved here.
Dealing with the card situation first:
Invest in a card reader that connects to the PC. Upload your photos to the pc. Then format the card.
Make sure the battery is fully charged insert the card and see if the controls are now active. Non responsive controls are 9/10 caused by a low battery power which locks out the functions.
