Yes, I have the same problem and it is an issue with ATT U-verse.

There is a red, white yellow cable on one end and red, blue and blue cable on the other end

One side is standard, Other is HD. Red to Red Blue to White AND When you have Green it goes where Yellow would. Other Blue Would replace Green too. hope that helps. Pretty normal if your TV is HD Ready. Most DVD boxes are standard color coding. Try that.

I have a mitusbishi ws-a65 hd 1080 tv. im having trouble getting the picture to line up with the shodows, its showing double, how can i fix this?

Your Convergence ICs have likely failed. It is very common on rear projections. Replace the STK chips, check fuses and the resistors next to the STK chips. Replace as necessary and re-align via the service menu.

Use this simple test to verify.
Go to the users menu on the tv.
Look for the converge option to align the red and blue colors

If you cannot move the red either horizontal or vertical, then the STK chip has failed for red section.
If you cannot move the blue either horizontal or vertical, then the STK chip has failed for the blue section.

If you can move both in each direction then the problem is something else.

Note if one STK chip fails, you replace both regardless. There may only be one STK chip in this set. If there are two, they will be right next to each other.

How do I change my W2613 TV resolution to 1080i? I just bought this TV a few weeks ago and I want to be able to play my XBox360 in HD and when I connect all 6 wires (Red, White, Yellow & Green, Red,...

use just the red green and blue wires for the picture and NOT the yellow wire. That is why it is messed up.

XBOX games only play in 720, but it will still look great.

Mitsubishi Medallion 1080 WS-55413 - colors not aligned

There is no "reset" as the set has in the customer and tech menus ways to attempt to manually adjust this.

under convergence in the customer menu select advanced and follow the instructions on the screen.

If Red or Blue or Green are skewed and will not adjust it means one of the two STK-394-250 CONVERGENCE chips this set uses is bad.

Depending on where you buy them they will range in price from about 12 dollars each to nearly 35 dollars each.

Let me know what you find; this may or may not be a do it yourself repair as some real expertise is required to correctly get at and replace the chips.

No vedio image

The front jacks are composite (yellow, red, white) I suspect x-box is component (green, blue, red)

Look for the one component input on the back marked DTV which should have 1080 marked on it.

HDTV-AT&T UVERSE

First of all, is your blue "HD" light lit up on the front of your Uverse box?

If yes, then you're in HD

If No, you need to check your connections from Box to TV
1.Those Red-Blue-Green cables are for video only, they don't carry sound and shouldn't be connected to audio outs. Audio needs a seperate cable. Make sure your Red isn't on the audio out which is also red. Make sure your blue and green aren't switched with each other either. Check that at both ends.
2. Try an HDMI cable. It will carry audio and video together and it's one cord instead of 5.
3. What brand/model of TV is it? Is it an older projection TV? The HD tuner might be shot. The individual color tubes commonly fail after a few years.
4. Are you selecting 720p or 1080i from your TV's menu or from the Uverse menu? You'll need to set it through the Uverse box, not the TV.
5.Follow -Menu -Settings -Aspect Ratio to change to 720 or 1080. This should start an autotest which will scramble your picture for about 5 seconds, then bring you back to a menu asking you to keep settings or revert back settings. If you never see that question pop up, then your TV isn't supporting the HD, and you settings will be rolled back automatically. If the question does pop up and you can read it, select "keep settings" and press OK. Your blue HD light should come on the front of the box now.
